Spring Camp is right around the corner! The weekend of March 18th to the 20th! Activities, friends, Big Game, St. Patty’s green dance party, green food, leprechauns…mom and dad get a weekend to themselves…what’s not to love?
February 16, 17, and 18, Camp Kern will be calling all of the 2010 summer camp families, and chatting about 2011. We call to answer any questions or concerns you may have, update you on new stuff, and get you registered if you haven’t already!
We call from 5 to 8 pm, and would love to talk to the whole family, so put everyone on loudspeaker, and have your questions ready.
This is our 4th annual Info-thon, and is one of the things many families look forward to each winter.
If you are not a 2010 camper, but would like a call, email mcostlow@daytonymca.org and get added to the list!
A metal ring with 5 small “beads” on it, you start the beads spinning, and keep them going while rotating the ring. It’s a really neat team building tool, and you’ll probably be seeing some at Kern soon!

Yes, along with the rest of the midwest, camp is frozen solid this week! Tree limbs are down, wind is blowing, ice covers everything, and we are all chilly. Summer Camp, please come soon!
