We have the greatest Christmas opportunity to share with you! Did you know that this year you can order your Christmas Trees from YMCA Camp Kern? During Camp Kern’s Christmas Tree Fundraiser, your family can create great Christmas memories, along with supporting Camp Kern! No, we are not cutting down our forest! Instead we are ordering Christmas trees from a Christmas tree farm in Virginia to offer to our families this holiday. You can preorder a Frasier Fur Pine Tree of 5′ to 6′, 6′ to 7′, or 7′ to 8′ in height. We are setting up a very special weekend where you can come to Kern, pick out your tree and experience some Kern magic around the holidays. Ornaments, hot cider, hay rides, bon fire and crafts will be available for your family to enjoy along with getting your tree. Getting the tree this year will be filled with holiday and Kern magic. A combination that will for sure make a new family tradition for all involved. Pick up your tree December 1st between 11:00am and 9:00pm! (Can’t make it December 1st? Although that is the only day the “pickup experience” will be going on, alternate pickup sites are available on December 2nd. No pickups available prior to December 1…our trees are being cut and delivered within 48 hours!) Did we also mention that your purchase of Camp Kern Tree will be tax deductible? So not only will you find the perfect tree, but mom and dad get to write off the tree as a donation to charity to help make the holiday even brighter for others.
