It's not Dutch, nor is it an auction…
Two days down.
The weather hasn’t been 100% cooperative up to this point. Oddly enough however, the more the rain threatened to fall, the more energetic the kids seem to get. Mother nature really just had no way of bringing these kids down.
Yesterday was our first full day of activities. On Sunday the campers get to choose 3 activities which the get to go to every day. Which three would you choose?
- Arts and Crafts
- BBs
- Archery
- Lakefront
- Swimming
- Climbing
- Media
I’m a climber, personally.
So because of the rain and thunder last night we were forced to stay indoors, which is awesome because we got to take part in a dutch auction. The not-so-dutch and not so auctiony Dutch Auction was won by cabin 3, who had a ridiculous score of 21. E
ach camper brings ten items and a set of judges calls out different things, you get a point by having that item. It’s amazing how creative kids can get when they need to bring up a “watch” and all they have is a permanent marker and their counselors arm.
I’ll let them explain that to you.
Tonight is village game night and I’m not positive but I think I just saw a raptor run by….
