Meeting Facilities
YMCA Camp Kern has meeting space for groups of all sizes. Our new, fully-equipped Schiewetz Assembly Hall holds up to 300 people, boasts an auditorium with seating for 200-300 and a stage, plus 4 breakout rooms. The Moore Building is designed for smaller groups (50-100 people) and provides a more intimate setting. It includes a large assembly room with fireplace and beautiful deck overlooking the Miami River Valley, 2 breakout rooms, and A/V Equipment. Schiewetz Assembly Hall
Our state of the art 10,000 square foot Schiewetz Assembly Hall will capture your heart with its modern, yet rustic feel. It features the Carl B.Kern Auditorium, a Board room, a Multi-purpose Room, and a Brainstorming Room. The Schiewetz Assembly Hall can accommodate up to 300 guests. Beverage, snack, and meal service available within the building. Dry erase and bulletin boards, TVS/VCRs/DVDS, computer input, ceiling mounted projectors, tables, chairs, landscaped courtyard, wireless microphone, 9×12 presentation screen, and stereo system are some of the many feature of this building.
Carl B. Kern Auditorium
Beautiful auditorium with stage, wireless microphones,audio/visual hookups, 12 foot screen, and laptop plug-ins. Seats 300+ in chairs and 220 at round tables. Great for weddings, receptions, banquets, special occasions, corporate events, and more!
Board Room
Elegant oval table surrounded by 12 aireon chairs. Overhead projection system compatible with laptops & DVD/CD.
Adventure Room (Brainstorming Room)
This classroom is designed for brainstorming. Walls are lined with removable white boards and push pin boards. DVD/VCR and television located within. Room seats 12 around tables and 30 in rows.
Explorer Room (Multi -purpose Room)
Great for presentations and meetings. Can seat 24 at tables or 60 in rows. This room can be broken into two separate rooms with divider. Both rooms complete with DVD/VCR and television.
Singerman Lodge
In addition to being the main full-service dining hall, Singerman Lodge features a fireplace, TV/VCR, tables, chairs, easels and flipcharts, dry erase and bulletin boards, projection system, stereo system with CD/tape player, and microphone. This building can accommodate 250 people.
Moore Building
Main assembly room (40-100 people), tables and chairs, stereo system with cd/tape player, microphone, overhead projector, digital projector and screen, tv/vcr/dvd, easels and flip charts, dry erase and bulletin boards, fireplace, 3 porches, outdoor grill, picnic area, indoor, kitchenette, and 5 breakout rooms (up to 30 people each).
Elk Lodge
Elk lodge is set near the Circle K Ranch and Elk Lake, the perfect place for any retreat. Elk Lodge features bunk style sleeping with four large bunk rooms and two small bunk rooms. There are indoor bathrooms and showers, heat, air conditioning, a large meeting room and dining hall, and a fireplace. Elk Lodge also features TV/VCR, fireplace, tables, chairs, easels and flip charts, dry erase and bulletin boards, overhead projector and screen. At capacity, Elk Lodge can accommodate 76 people.
