With over 80 years of experience, we have an extensive series of problem-solving initiatives that require groups to work together to plan,implement and evaluate solutions. Building trust, confidence, communication, cooperation, and problem solving skills are several of the results obtained through participation in one of our Corporate Team building Programs.
We have over 100 activities to challenge your team, you’ll work to overcome a variety of physical and mental obstacles ranging from navigating one of our low ropes elements to solving complex puzzles. Tell us your focus, and we’ll do the rest (ie. Communication, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, etc).
Most challenges can be set up to relate to your group’s situation. Debriefing sessions are held at the end of each activity where you will openly discuss and dissect your progress through each activity.
Mobile Teambuilding
Camp Kern on Wheels
Time, transportation, and logistical restraints may make it difficult for your group to come to camp, so let us come to you! Mobile Teambuilding Programs are a unique and fantastic way to shake up any conference, seminar, workshop, retreat, or school assembly.
Camp Kern Facilitators will travel to most any facility to lead group and teamwork initiative activities for large or small groups. We will work with you to create an agenda that best suits your needs and goals. We have fully developed programs for youth (8th grade +) and adults and are equipped for indoor or outdoor events. Kings Island Challenge
Meet us at Kings Island to test your group’s stamina in a whole new way. It’s the Camp Kern Adventure Challenge with a Kings Island twist. The Kings Island Challenge is designed for larger groups (35+ people) who are willing and able to divide into smaller teams. Each team must compete against the rest in a race across the park, completing challenges that test their mental capacity and teamwork capabilities. The Challenge is designed as an opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, communication, personal growth, and camaraderie for any organization. The Kings Island Challenge is designed for young adults (high school age) and older and takes place in a 3-hour block. Picnic shelters and catering are also available on-site at Kings Island.
Corporate Teambuilding at Great Wolf Lodge
Let YMCA Camp Kern Leadership and Teambuilding Facilitators play an integral part of your company’s next stay at Great Wolf Lodge. We use experiential-based training to enhance any company’s communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Our ninety-minute program is non-competitive and structured to challenge participants both individually and as a team. Our highly skilled and trained staff will lead activities specifically designed to build confidence and trust among coworkers, as well as to challenge traditional ways of thinking.
