Undersiege…Under the Lights
It rained on Wednesday.
A lot.
And while others may complain about such events, here at Camp Kern we celebrated the fact we were able to relive one of our favorite past activities. Underseige at night. It was muddy, it was wet, and it was dirty; so overall it was exactly how we wanted it. Similar to Capture the Flag, Underseige is an all camp game played over all 480+ acres of camp land.
Jackie, Eliot, Kenan, and Sarah were our Generals leading the four teams into a campwide hunt for total domination. And while all teams played hard, only Jackie and her tenacious Red Team offense stood tall in the end.

All of camp did the boogy woogy at the camp dance and carnival.
The Kern campers once again saved the day by fending off the dark riders with the help of the wise wizard.
It’s not quite dutch and it’s not really an auction but we all had a lot of fun with the Dutch Auction.
And now it’s time for my favorite part of the week, the cook out. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and water melon as far as the eyes can see and if I don’t make a move to the line soon I’m pretty sure the L.I.T.s may wipe out the last of the potato salad.
