When: December 2nd, 2017 – First Wave at 10am and at 15 minute intervals after that.

Where: YMCA Camp Kern – 5291 State Route 350, Oregonia, OH 45054

It’s time to Dash again! We can’t wait to see familiar faces and new faces alike at this years race, our 6th event at YMCA Camp Kern.

As always we will be tinkering with the course and changing up a few of the obstacles, so even experienced Arctic Dashers won’t know what is around every corner!

  • Finishers Medals for every runner (don’t worry you still get a t-shirt as well!)

  • This is a timed race and ankle bracelet timers will be provided to all runners at check in.

  • Free parking, hot showers and a vendor area will all be available, well as free beer or soft drinks for every runner.

You must be 16 or older to compete in this race, and anyone under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian sign their waiver.

Interested in volunteering, becoming a vendor or sponsoring the event? Email Sean at skline@daytonymca.org.

The Arctic Dash was born out of a desire from the YMCA Camp Kern team to bring obtsacle and mud running to the area and to use Camp Kern for an event that was truly unique in its history. We want to show off our beautiful 485 acres and what better way than to have people race through it!

The Arctic Dash raises money for our Annual ‘Strong Kids’ Campaign,  which provides scholarships to allow kids, whose families otherwise may not be able to afford it, to have that magical summer camp experience.

YMCA Camp Kern is a place for families, and we encourage you to bring your kids to the event.  (Free mini mud dash for the little ones!) Warm water hose-offs and showers are available for all dashers, as well as weekend cabin rentals.

The event is also a proud sponsor of ‘Toys for Tots and we encourage all runners, sponsors, volunteers and spectators to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event, to help local kids have a magical holiday.
