Experience a compact, yet exciting ranch week with our Ranch Adventures program! Spend 3 nights and 4 days horseback riding all over Camp Kerns scenic trails, while still enjoying traditional camp activities like rock climbing walls, hiking, archery, and swimming. Ranch Adventure campers will be staying in Conestoga Wagons and cooking over the fire, and enjoying campfires underneath the stars. You won’t want to miss this adventure!
Boys Only! This is a great opportunity for boys to experience all of Camp Kern’s exciting activities including the Double Zipline, Tango Tower, Mine Shaft, hiking, canoeing, and much more. The focus will be on leadership skills, overcoming fears, building self-esteem, making new friends, and most of all, having fun! The week will come to an exciting close with an overnight camping trip.

Ranch Camp at Circle K is unlike any other camp! Ranchers will experience the joy and responsibility of having their own horse through daily activities such as: grooming, tacking, horseback riding lessons and trail rides. Spend a week hanging out with just the girls! Participate in traditional camp activities like the climbing wall, canoeing, and arts and crafts, as well as, focus on specific topics such as self defense, friendship self esteem, and team building. We’ll finish the week off with a trip to yellow springs for a picnic and hike.

Campers MUST be intermediate to advanced riders! Saddle up Cowboys and Cowgirls! Trail Wranglers is the perfect week for those Ranchers who LOVE to trail ride! The week will include trail riding and camping out with the horses on and off Camp Kern property. Wranglers will learn to cook over a fire, outdoor living skills, horsemanship, and horseback riding skills.
The LIT program fosters and develops group dynamics, problem solving, and the camping skills we look for in future staff members. While living in a rustic setting, campers participate in the main camp activities and programs while focusing on their leadership skills and program development. This training is a stepping stone for older campers who are interested in transitioning into future camp leaders, but still enjoy the magic of being a camper.
This is a great chance to get the kids back to Camp to enjoy a quick round of all the traditional activities that Camp has to offer!
